Don't look now, but I've spotted a Dark Horse from way back. Earlier this week, Tamara Willit Hurt was sitting in sixth. Leslie's team has already vaulted to third. But she may not be done. Take a look at what happens if the favorites win out in every remaining event:
Lea's Team (projected points in bold):
1. Michael Phelps - 24
2. Alexander Artemev Donny Robinson - 3
3. Women's Softball - 3
4. Matt Emmons - 2
5. Women's basketball - 3
6. David Boudia
7. Jonathan Horton - 3
8. Haley Ishimatsu
9. James Blake
10. Eva Lee
11. Samantha Peszek - 2
12. Jason Parker Kristin Armstrong - 3
Projected total: 43
Leslie's Team (projected points in bold)
1. Nastia Liukin - 10
2. Ryan Lochte - 8
3. Jeremy Wariner - 6
4. Jason Lezak - 7
5. Allyson Felix - 3
6. Womens Soccer - 3
7. Shawn Crawford - 2
8. Christian Cantwell - 2
9. Sanya Richards - 1
10. Steven Lopez - 3
11. Anna Willard
12. Destinee Hooker Tiffany Ross-Williams - 2
Projected total: 47
It would be a huge upset. Remember that you heard it here first!

**SPOILER ALERT**
Ouch. Leslie's chances take a hit as Shawn Crawford doesn't medal. Looks like this will be a tight contest!
***MORE SPOILER***
Crawford got bronze.
Spearman was disqualified.
**I'LL SEE YOUR MORE SPOILER AND RAISE YOU SOME MORE**
Leslie's projected lead cut to one as Tiffany Ross-Williams comes in dead last in the 400m hurdles. One more stumble and Lea probably wins it. What a turn of events.
Unbelievable... another guy gets DQ'd, Crawford back to silver.
BAH!
WHAT THE...
SILVER FOR SOFTBALL???
^^^^I see Lea has assumed my identity

Sorry, Lopez is still projected as well.
Haha... woops!
Sorry about that. But not as sorry as I am that SOFTBALL GOT SILVER.
Maybe it was strategic, though, so they could go to the IOC and say "See? We DON'T win every time. Now let us play in London."
I'm gonna lose.
Well, not like Lee lose, but like daddy always said, "If ya ain't first, you're last."
It's not over yet... here's the latest:

It looks like it comes down to the men's 4 x 400 (assuming the U.S. women win gold). Unless, of course, Boudia pulls a huge surprise in the platform diving.
Time out: Forgot that Sanya Richards is on the women's 4 x 400 team, which had the fastest time in qualifying. If the men's or women's team can get the baton around the track in the final, Leslie probably wins.
***SPOILER***
Game over.
Leslie by 1.
I'm just happy to participate.
I have to agree with Lee...I am sooo happy to be a part of this.....(last place)!
